Thomas Efferth教授（德国美因茨大学），主要从事植物天然产物分子药物毒理学等研究。现任德国美因茨大学药学与生物化学研究所药物生物学系主任，世界中医药学会联合会副主席，《Phytomedicine》杂志主编，《Medicina and Aromatic Plants》、《Planta Medica》等26个期刊的编委，德国医药协会（DPhG）、国际抗癌研究所（IIAR）、《Begell House》出版社（New York，USA）科学咨询委员会成员。累计发表高水平学术论文450余篇，综述80余篇，主编及参编专业专著近20部。近五年，Thomas Efferth教授发表学术论文190余篇，引文率高于8000次；出版学术专著4部，获得2项美国专利、1项欧洲专利和1项西班牙专利授权。参加国际会议并举办讲座近200次。

Professor Thomas Efferth (Mainz University, Germany) is mainly engaged in research on molecular drug toxicology of plant natural products. He is currently the director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Biology of the Institute of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of Mainz University, Germany, the vice chairman of the World Federation of Chinese Medical Societies, the editor in chief of the《Phytomedicine》, the editorial board member of 26 journals such as《Medicine and Aromatic Plants》and《Planta Medica》, and the member of the scientific advisory committee of the German Pharmaceutical Association (DPhG), the International Institute of Anticancer Research (IIAR), and《Begell House》(the New York, USA press). He has published more than 450 high-level academic papers, more than 80 reviews, and nearly 20 professional books. In the past five years, Professor Thomas Efferth has published more than 190 academic papers, with the citation rate higher than 8000 times; He has published 4 academic books and obtained 2 US patents, 1 European patent and 1 Spanish patent authorization. Attended international conferences and delivered nearly 200 lectures.
